Because they're in chinese clothes I used their chinese names. Huang is my chinese surname so therefore it is their's as well. Huang means yellow. I'm not very proud of it so just forget that name meaning okay? I don't want to change it cos one day my mum might find out and she'll ask why I've got the wrong chinese surname and that'll disappoint her.
So, to the left is Xia Mei a.k.a Yumiko. Xia means home and Mei means beauty. So therefore her name means Family Beauty.
In the middle is Leiko, my missing sister. Her chinese name is Yue meaning moon. I would have found a better one but I had already named her Yue ages ago.
And on the right is ME! Kimiko Hakaku! Or Xia Ying. Xia meaning 'home' and Ying meaning 'Happiness or whole' or something (need to ask my mum again). Anyway, I say it means Family Happiness.
Now then, you might be wondering why they're all slanting a bit to the right. Yeah, it's a mystery to me too. SO I made it like Yumiko has just jumped on Leiko to hug her and Leiko kind of looses her balance so she's leaning a lot on me. So there I am with a helpless expression on my face saying, " Yeah... it's a group photo but you're squashing me... could you move please?"
Actually my mum saw this and said that Xia Ying looked really like me which is a result. I actually look like the person I want to become (the older version obviously)
I really like this piccy! I've decided that Leiko is the same age as Yumiko and Kimiko but she is the eldest. I don't want her to be six years older than them because I hate drawing adults which is what she would be if she was six years older.
This is also a goodbye present to everybody.
Going to Scotland for the holidays.
AS IF I'LL EVER LEAVE DA!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
