This journal is gonna get longer and longer it seems... well, for those who want to hear about the Expo thing and meeting up stuff, you will need to go to around the bottom of the journal. The middle of the jurnal is about the art thief who's taken a swing on things now since his cover has been blown O_O; And the beginning of this journal is for my graphics homework and I hope you can answer these questions cos tis very important ^_^ thankyou



Right, I'm gonna be making a pop-up book for my new graphics project, and as part of the coursework I need to do research. My target group is kinda.. dammit the list is at home (got my notebook next to me but tis the wrong one dammit)

but anyway I think it is around kinda teenager-ish ages, maybe some of the older kids, maybe around 8-15, people with an interest in haunted houses (one of my obsessions at the moment) likes art, maybe into the cartoony but dark style (this is where my obsession with comes in hah) and other stuff I can't remember but basically YOU LOT are my target audience ^_^ and I need your help by answering my questions ^_^

don't worry, there's only 6 you need to answer and its not like you've never seen a pop-up book before! ... isn't it?

1. What images and colours do you associate with haunted houses?

2. What style of art shuold be used with the illustrations? e.g. Gothic-like, fairytale-like, anime-like, 'other-kind-of-cartoon'-like or something else? (honestly I have no other way of describing them )

3. What would the story be about? It is set in a haunted house, maybe a group of kids go that at night or something, gotta be short but cool

4. How much would you pay for a pop-up book? Don't be stingy, how abot, what is the biggest price you would pay?

5. What types of things do you like in pop-up books? like when you fold out a flappy thing and something on the other side of the page moves, or when you open the page a GIANT picture pops out, or when you open the book it turns into a GIANT house like this here or something else

6. What should the layout be?

Like a giant house, or a normal pop-up book, or a picture book, or like the 'Alice in Wonderland' pop-up book, or a pop-up comic? XD




Also, totally off topic, any exercises which can help you strengthen your stomach muscles? I've fine with the rest of my body, but I've always had weak stomaach muscles and I thought I might strengthen it. Might help with sports. I already know about sit ups, but I have an inability to do those that's how weak my muscle is and that's why I want other ways to exercise so I can build up to the situps.


Now back to the art thief thingy. Not sure what to say now... he's changed the picture. Before it was the Naruhina Colab pic, now he's gone and changed it to a doll based pic or whatever. What's his problem? Why can't he just delete it? -_-;

yeah so I shouldnm't relaly be saying that its my picture really, cos I just coloured it, lineart and stuff credit goes to and don't forget that ^_^

but for the uses of this journal I'll just refer to it as 'my colab pic' or something like that. RIght?


So like I said before.. dunno what to say now. I knew what my reaction would be but I didn't plan THIS!... oh well makes it more fun ^_^ He's taken down my colab pic so thats good ^_^ hasn't apologized so not so good, and instead of deleting it he changes the pic O_O; Oh well. I've met other idiots in my life.

now back to real life tis only a naruto pic and ain't much of a naruto fan now (haven't watched in about a year)

Who is going to the London Expo?

it is on the 25th-26th October, in a few weeks in the weekend!

I'm going! On both days! One Saturday I'll be going with my anime clubbers and some other friends maybe, and one Sunday I'll be going with my dad and my brother, possibly my mum too though I doubt it.


I'm VERY hopefully gonna be cosplaying! has made my DC Fire outfit, and I hope she's finished now but I haven't caught her online on msn recently so I dunno,,,

thing is, I can't find the right shade of red for the skirt, tis always pinky red when I want firey red.

oh I have Vicki's number! I'll text her then...


oh, and my dad might be cosplaying too... oh gawd... he's gonna go into London in slippers O_O; dressing gown and pyjamas...

he's cosplaying as Authur Dent from Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy! The BBC version not the crappy new film out a few years ago. That was REALLY pathetic! There was NEVER a 'golden gun of truth' or some place where spades came out of the ground or whatever. They RUINED IT!


maybe I can talk him round going in such wierd clothes...


oh geex I can talk! I'm the one who's gonna be going around London on both days in a stupid short red skirt, a long black tail, cat ears and a freaky looking hoodie!


I'm wishing I never made DC Fire with a skirt TT_TT

oh well.

I'll wear jogging shorts underneath.





Anyway onto the next subject, MEETING UP WITH YOU LOT! I would LOVE to meet up with anybody on any day of the Expo, and you probably can meet me any time cos I plan to stay there for the whole two days.

I'm gonna be meeting yp with the Gashu-group, actually very excited XD although I rarely go on their website gomensai

I'm too addicted to DA



Anyway... meeting times... well, I guess first I need to know when you lot will be there, then maybe I can arrange the time(s)



And if you can't make it to the meeting, don't worry, you might come across a DC Firey-looking person, who will be ME!

Also look out for DC Attack XD that'll be we're gonna go around being the 'evil twins of darkness'!


Not sure what else to say now... sheer boredom here. Am at school. I started a sketch in my notebook with a Martina's biro. would finish it cos I'm so bored, but I gave the biro back to her. I don't have any other biros (that's why I borrowed Martina's one duh!)


oh well. My mum should be here soon (am at school)


I don't usually go on the comp at home now. Doesn't really matter. I haven't been drawing much anyway and I'm not working on any at the moment cos of all the homework I haven't had time t start.
